Hosted
Home Assistant Instances

Your own isolated HAOS virtual machine on our hardware, with a secure WireGuard link back to the devices in your home.

Isolated HAOS VMs

Your own Home Assistant OS — its own kernel, disk, and network. No shared HA, no neighbours.

HomeLink

A WireGuard tunnel to your local devices. No inbound ports.

Your data, your server

End-to-end encrypted. Backups encrypted at rest. We don't read your data.

Failover-ready

Mirror your local HA to the cloud. If home goes down, the hosted one takes over (roadmap).

Built for Real Use Cases

Whether you're building add-ons, replacing a tired Pi, or want a failover — we've got you covered.

For Developers
Test Your Integrations

Spin up a clean Home Assistant instance in minutes. Develop and test custom components, add-ons, and automations against a real HA server without touching your production setup. Tear it down when you're done.

Upgrade Your Pi
Move Off the Raspberry Pi

Running HA on a Pi that's slow, crashes, or can't handle your growing setup? We migrate your configuration to a dedicated hosted server with more resources and proper uptime — HomeLink keeps your local devices connected.

CHAP
Continuous Home Assistant Processing

Keep running your own local HA as the primary. VomeHome mirrors it continuously. If your home server goes offline, the hosted instance takes over automatically until your local one comes back.

Up and Running in Minutes

No infrastructure to manage. Sign up, launch, connect.

Frequently Asked

What's available right now?
The Standard plan: one isolated Home Assistant instance per account, 1 GB RAM, two HomeLink peers, community support. GitHub accounts older than 30 days get a 10-day free trial automatically when you sign in. Pro and Developer tiers (more RAM, multiple instances, CHAP failover, SSH) are the next things on our roadmap.
How is this different from Home Assistant Cloud (Nabu Casa)?
Nabu Casa provides remote access and voice control for an existing HA instance you run yourself. VomeHome hosts the entire Home Assistant server for you on dedicated hardware — you don't need to run anything at home except your devices. Think of it as "managed HA hosting" rather than a remote-access proxy.
What is HomeLink?
HomeLink is an encrypted WireGuard tunnel between your hosted Home Assistant and your home network. Install the WireGuard app on a device at home (or on a dedicated router), and your local Zigbee hubs, cameras, and smart plugs appear to Home Assistant as if they were on the same network. No ports need to be opened on your home router.
What is CHAP (Continuous Home Assistant Processing)?
CHAP mirrors your local Home Assistant configuration to your VomeHome server continuously. If your home server goes offline — power cut, SD card failure, hardware issue — the hosted instance automatically takes over your automations. When your local server comes back, it resumes as primary. Available on Pro and Developer plans.
Can I use this to develop and test add-ons?
Yes — that's a core use case. Spin up a clean instance, install your custom component or add-on, test it, and tear it down. Developer plan users get up to three concurrent instances and SSH access for debugging.
I'm running HA on a Raspberry Pi. Can I migrate?
Yes. Export your HA backup, upload it to your VomeHome instance, and enable HomeLink to reconnect your local devices. Your automations, integrations, and history come with you. Many users keep the Pi as a local HomeLink bridge afterwards.
Is my data safe?
HomeLink traffic is end-to-end encrypted with WireGuard. Your instance runs in an isolated container — other users cannot access it. Backups are encrypted at rest. We do not access your automations, recordings, or personal data.
