Point your address at a different server
Move a friendly address between your own servers without changing the address, so saved links and companion apps keep working.

After migrating, the address saved on every phone in the house still points at the server you just moved off. The alternative to fixing that is re-adding the server in the companion app on every device — a worse migration than the one you just performed.
A friendly address can be moved between your own servers without the address itself changing.
- Open the server you want the address to point at.
- Choose the address from the list and press Point here.
The change takes effect immediately, and the hostname never stops resolving in between — the route is rewritten rather than removed and re-added.
A destination that cannot serve it is refused
If the target server has no route of its own yet, the move is refused before anything changes, rather than half-applied and leaving your address pointing at something that cannot answer.
